The narrative claims young people are resilient entrepreneurs. They are supposedly building empires in the shadow of machine intelligence. This is nothing but fiction. The actual reality is a desperate flight from any stable employment.

AI systems and corporate restructuring have already eliminated the predictable middle class job. Workers are not proving themselves. They are simply trying to survive the corporate purge.

The concept of “entrepreneurship” has been forced upon everyone. It is the pathetic fallback position for the dying industrial economy. The platform economy does not offer freedom. It only offers grinding precarity.

People are trapped in this cycle because the old structures of employment have been gutted by efficiency algorithms. The digital gig economy is built entirely on exhausting instability. It demands constant performance without any guarantee of reward.

The new reality for the young workforce is clear. It involves the perpetual scramble for micro-gigs. It means the commodification of your own attention span. There is no safety net when the algorithm shifts or the client disappears.
