THE GRADUATE MASSACRE

The numbers from The Times are out. One third of graduate jobs have disappeared. Companies are not evolving. They are simply deleting the bottom of the food chain. They use AI to do the work that used to require a person. It is efficient. It is cold. It is much easier to use a script than to pay a salary.

The death of the entry level role is a fact. The struggle for a career is over because the career no longer exists. You spent years studying for a world that is being overwritten by code.

Depressing features of this era.

• Human intelligence is an expensive error.
• Degrees are now expensive receipts for useless information.
• Software does not require healthcare or a lunch break.
