MALI'S COUP CYCLE THE SHOW GOES ON
THE DECLARATION OF A HALT TO THE COUP SITUATION IN MALI IS NOTHING MORE THAN STAGE DRESSING. THE POWER VACUUM IN THE COUNTRY REMAINS A PREDICTABLE COMMODITY FOR ANY FOREIGN ACTOR. THE LOCAL MILITARY LEADERSHIP IS STILL STUCK IN ITS ENDLESS STRUGGLE FOR CONTROL.
Colonel Amadou Goita’s emergence as a key figure only highlights the deep institutional rot beneath the surface. Whether the chaos is officially called off or not, the fundamental power struggle over the state is far from over. External powers do not see Mali as a sovereign nation. They only view it as a dirty theater for geopolitical proxy sparring.
The core decay of this region shows up in the predictable pattern of interference. Foreign military presence simply replaces local governance. Military strongmen are forced to manage instability that they cannot control. National crises are treated like commodities for outside strategic gain.
This region confirms the pattern of decay we expected. No stability is being restored here. Only the balance of exploitation is being adjusted. Public trust evaporated long ago. Now the military and foreign interests just take turns picking over the scraps. Nothing ever changes except the faces pointing the guns.
