Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is attempting to manage the fallout. He claims artificial intelligence will create new jobs. He wants to dismiss the fear of mass unemployment. This is corporate damage control. It is not a solution.

The technology is not expanding the workforce. It is just reassigning the wreckage. Humans will not be replaced by machines. Humans will be downgraded to support the machines. The new roles are not better. They are just different.

The features of this new servitude are bleak.

• Data labeling for pennies.
• Prompt engineering for the machine.
• Monitoring the error rates of black boxes.

The destruction of the human element is already happening. We are just waiting for the final report.
