RESOLUTION 2286 IS A DEAD LETTER
The United Nations marked ten years of Resolution 2286. This paper was supposed to stop the bombing of hospitals. It failed. The ICRC is looking back at a decade of broken promises. It is just a ledger of how many more doctors died while the world watched.
The rules of war are a joke. Soldiers do not care about UN documents. They care about destroying the enemy’s ability to recover. A hospital is just a high-value target.
The reality of the last decade is simple.
- Hospitals are now strategic targets.
- Medical staff are being hunted.
- International law is a suggestion for the powerful.
- The infrastructure of life is being erased.
The resolution is a ghost. It haunts the ruins of clinics that used to exist. We are not seeing a failure of law. We are seeing the success of total war.
