A group of Pennsylvanians recently completed a 63 mile trek. They walked to protest the way lawmakers accept gifts. They wanted to stop unlimited campaign contributions.

The effort is a waste of energy. Politics in Pennsylvania is a transaction. The lawmakers have already bought their positions. A long walk cannot compete with a deep pocket.
